An abstract painting depicting an isolated tree on a remote, minimalist landscape. A few acrylic undercoat layers were followed by the application of oil paint, cold wax and sand with palette knife and brushes. Some areas were then scrubbed back and scratched out resulting in interesting textures reminiscent of the expanding root structure of a mature tree. Artwork will be packed securely and protected with bubble wrap and heavy cardboard for postage.
