A large, abstract painting, this piece was painted over an older painting which was never quite right, but a lot of the original background is still there, which helps add a feeling of depth and atmosphere to the piece. Heavily textured in parts using newspaper, sand and gesso, the overall feel is somewhat ethereal.
Unframed, the canvas edges are painted black. It could, of course, be framed if desired. Email for cost. Otherwise, ready to hang. Artwork will be packed securely and protected with bubble wrap and heavy cardboard for postage.
